Position Overview:
Are you ready to revolutionize the world of retail? We are seeking an exceptional and dynamic individual to join our team as a Shopper Marketing Director. This is not your average marketing role – it's a thrilling opportunity to spearhead innovative strategies that bridge the gap between brand promotion and consumer purchasing decisions.
As our Shopper Marketing Director, you will be at the forefront of crafting groundbreaking campaigns that captivate and influence the modern shopper. Your creative vision and strategic mindset will shape the way our brands engage with consumers at every touchpoint along their shopping journey.

Key Responsibilities 

1. Shopper Marketing Strategy:
•Strategy Architect: Develop and implement a visionary shopper marketing strategy that aligns with our brand's objectives and consumer insights. Uncover hidden opportunities and leverage data-driven analysis to create compelling campaigns that drive sales and loyalty.
•Shopper Empowerment: Harness the power of consumer and shopper insights to gain a profound understanding of their needs, preferences, and motivations. Utilize data-driven insights to devise targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives that truly resonate.
•Integrated Campaigns: Design and execute end-to-end shopper marketing campaigns that seamlessly integrate online and offline touchpoints. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and a unified brand experience across all channels.

2. Shopper Experience Enhancement:
•Create Compelling Shopper Experiences: Leverage shopper analytics, market research, and competitive intelligence to gain deep insights into shopper behaviors and trends, to identify opportunities for enhancing the overall shopper experience. Continuously monitor campaign performance, measure ROI, and optimize strategies based on data-driven learnings.
•Drive Digital Shopper Marketing Initiatives: In today's digitally-driven world, you will pioneer innovative digital shopper marketing strategies. Spearhead the planning, execution, and optimization of retail media strategies to drive traffic, boost sales, and amplify brand awareness and conversion within the retail environment.

3. Alliance Building:
•Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: As the driving force behind our shopper marketing initiatives, you will collaborate closely with sales, and brand teams. Together, you will ideate and execute integrated campaigns that captivate shoppers in-store, online, and across various channels.
•Partnership Management: Cultivate strategic relationships with key retail partners, ensuring our brand stands out on shelves, drives foot traffic, and delivers an exceptional in-store experience. Collaborate closely with trade marketing teams to align strategies and maximize promotional opportunities.
•Agency Leadership: Manage the scope and nurture partnerships with key agencies, leveraging their expertise to elevate our shopper marketing initiatives.

4. Inspirational Leadership
•Inspire and mentor a high-performing shopper marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning, to ensure their professional growth and effective execution of shopper marketing initiatives.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • 12+ years in shopper marketing, trade marketing, or related roles within CPG
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior & shopper insights, retail dynamics, retailer media groups and digital media.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful shopper marketing campaigns that drive sales and enhance brand visibility.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and win support with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive and succeed in an ambiguous and complex environment.

The salary for this role is $141,500.00 - $226,400.00 This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
