YOUR ROLE

• Assigning customer deliveries to our 3^rd party transport providers
• Alignment with warehouses on picking priorities and loading sequences.
• Ensure availability of loading capacities of the preferred carriers.
• Manage the shipment documentation process for customer deliveries
• Manage customer bookings
• Provide custom documents to brokers for shipments outside GB
• Monitor service level KPIs

• Identify and drive performance improvement opportunities with our 3PLs
• Escalate service related concerns
• Rush order cost and management

• Work with 3PLs to resolve late deliveries
• Manage the transportation process relating to customer returns
• Manage POD requests & Carrier claims
• Coordinate with the brokers and provide necessary custom documents for exports
• Provide necessary dangerous goods information, for sea and air shipments in particular

YOUR SKILLS

• Previous experience in transport related functions preferable but not essential.
• Previous experience in an administrative role ideal.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• IT skills including outlook and MS office are required.
• SAP experience related to shipments and deliveries is a plus
• A “can-do” attitude with the ability to work unsupervised and use initiative.
• Understanding of basic custom processes and documentation is ideal
• IMDG and IATA knowledge is ideal
