About this Position
This role is responsible for ensuring product quality and regulatory compliance through testing of materials, supporting quality investigations, maintaining lab standards, and driving process improvements within the quality department.
What you´ll do
- Perform standard quality control testing on incoming raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished goods.
- Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (SHE) rules, procedures, and regulations.
- File and maintain retain samples, dispose of old retain samples, and maintain a clean working environment.
- Assist Quality Engineers with complaint investigations and provide appropriate training to internal customers in the SHEQ area.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization within the quality department.
- Develop tests and report on formulations, executing lab testing and generating test data and documentation. Communicate with various internal functions and execute the implementation of regulation changes.
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Analytical Chemistry (master’s degree is a plus).
- 3 to 5 years of experience in chemical laboratories within FMCG, chemical, or manufacturing industries, preferably including at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Fluent level of English is required.
- Ability to train, mentor, and evaluate lab technicians and analysts.
- Solution-Oriented, analytical and structured.
